Agile on the Beach is an international Agile conference held in the stunning Academy of Music and Theatre Arts (AMATA) part of the University of Falmouth and is devoted to delivering an environment for businesses and individuals at all stages of their digital transformation and Agile journey to thrive, grow and develop. They propagate innovative Agile methodologies through a community of thought leaders, visionaries and adopters, widening the Agile bubble and helping businesses and individuals to add meaningful value.
They have recently announced 2 of this year’s keynote speakers Vimla Appadoo & Sally Goble.
Vimla is an award-winning, international keynote speaker and has been recognised many times over for her work with startups and as a tech entrepreneur. Throughout her career, Vimla has been passionate about promoting conscious culture design and we’re thrilled to welcome her to AOTB 2022!
Over the past 10 years, Sally has worked with a centuries-old, global media, organisation, a hypergrowth startup and one of the country’s most popular delivery companies to name just a few! Throughout her time with all of these companies, Sally has an established record of building/managing mixed discipline and distributed teams of software engineers, SREs and QAs.
A prolific supporter of women in tech, Sally regularly works with schools and community groups to increase the profile of discussions around diversity in tech. As an engineering manager at accuRx, (a medium-sized health tech start-up based in London), Sally is kept busy with the many challenges of being part of a company that is rapidly growing. She says that it’s enjoyable to work in a company with an incredible, human-centred, mission.
Long-distance swimming is a popular hobby of Sally’s and she is one of less than 3000 people who have swum the English Channel solo.
