DESCRIPTION:Join CSATT\, TECgirls\, and Cornwall’s Digital Skills Partnership for a space tech extravaganza afternoon! \nWe’ll be hosting a free afternoon of space\, technology\, engineering\, and creativity. Launch your own rocket\, build your own robot\, try out virtual reality\, watch space films\, and more! \nFor the younger ones\, we’ll have fun and exciting activities to take part in. \nFor the adults\, we’ll have a range of space and tech companies to chat to\, and a panel discussion on how to empower women to ‘take up space’ and work in space and tech. \nWho is this event for? \nThis event is aimed women\, girls\, and non-binary people who are interested in finding out more about careers in space and tech. We also welcome siblings. \nMost of the content will be most suitable for children age 8+ although all are welcome. There is no requirement for any previous experience and there will be helpers and mentors to guide everyone through these activities. \nAll children must be accompanied by an adult. While there will be mentors and helpers at the event\, there will not be childcare in place and you will have full responsibility for your children. \nSpeakers and Activities (TBC) \nPlease note – there is no set schedule for the evening.
