350 gather for biggest ever Agile on the Beach
Last week Agile on the Beach, a global leading conference ran for its fifth year in Falmouth Cornwall. The biggest year yet, 350 agile professionals gathered to attend the 2 day conference and beach party. This successful Cornish Software and Business conference focuses on the development and adoption of the agile methodology for business growth and improvement and has grown year on year.
Originally funded through the European Union, the conference now independent attracts sponsors and delegates from across the UK and Europe as well as local organisations, engineers and business professionals. This year headline sponsors Plymouth University Computing sponsor the software craftsmanship track, alongside a broad range of local and international sponsors supporting the event.
As well as expanding its capacity the conference continues to push the boundaries of agile both within software development and more broadly to the wider business community with new tracks Agile Product Development and Continuous Development and Delivery, as well as its 3 core tracks Agile Software Craftmanship, Agile Business and Agile Teams.
Over 50 speakers shared their knowledge and experience this year with experts gathering in Cornwall from locations including New York, London and Berlin, as well as a strong line up of local sessions from local business experts from Bluefruit, Headforwards, Being agile in Business, Worlds Apart and Shelterbox.
