While Cornish embedded software company, Bluefruit, have always paid their employees above the ‘Living Wage’ as standard, they are proud to make a formal commitment and be recognised for truly valuing their staff.
With over 1500 accredited employers, The Living Wage Foundation aims to encourage companies to voluntarily pay above and beyond National Minimum Wage. The minimum Living Wage is currently set to £7.85 per hour, substantially more generous than the £6.50 NMW, and is calculated according to the basic cost of living using the ‘Minimum Income Standard’ for the UK.
